Most web studios serving Valley County are working from an office in Boise, an hour and a half south. I'm not. I'm here in Cascade — so if you'd rather sit down and talk about your website than schedule another video call, we can do that.
I'm Chris Wilson, a senior software engineer with 30 years of experience. Fox Grove Media is a one-man studio, which means the person you meet is the person who writes your code.
Why hire someone local?
Honestly? For a lot of web work, it doesn't matter. Code is code, and I build sites for clients I've never met in person. If the best developer for your project is in another state, hire them.
But there are things that go better face to face. Working out what your site actually needs to do. Getting photos of your place that don't look like stock. Sitting down after launch so you can learn to update it yourself instead of emailing someone every time a price changes.
A studio in Boise will do that over Zoom, and bill you for the drive if they come up at all. I'm already here.

What does a website cost?
I bill $200/hour. A straightforward small business site is usually a handful of pages and lands in the low four figures; a custom web application with logins, payments, or booking runs well beyond that. I'll give you a real number after we talk about what you need — not a package price I made up before knowing anything about your business.
How long does it take?
A small static site is typically a few weeks from kickoff to launch. The part that usually holds things up isn't the code — it's photos and written content. If you have those ready, it moves fast.
Do I have to be technical?
No. You'll never get a jargon-filled status report from me. And when it's done, I'll show you how to make the changes you'll actually want to make — hours, prices, seasonal closures — so you're not paying someone for a five-minute edit.
What if I'm not in Cascade?
That's fine — most of my clients aren't. I work with businesses across Idaho and well beyond it, and always have. Being local is an option, not a requirement.
